Core Team

Since its inception Openmoko was architected by a dedicated team of core developers, heroes committed to creating a platform that will drive mobile computing to an open, ubiquitous, presence. This team includes scores of programmers dedicated to digital democracy and an open source philosophy. There are, however, a few individuals who stand above the rest, our hall of fame: the openmoko core team.

We take this place to praise them. They didn't do it for the money.

For the core team pushing this project, an open phone is not really even a product. It's the very embodiment of their vision of technology. They absolutely, passionately, believe that something as fundamental to our lives as the mobile phone must be opened.
